One of the big issues in Fremantle is the lack of parking near the west end of town. To find this out all you need to do is talk to any student that attends Notre Dame University who have a struggle parking on a daily basis.
Something we have been thinking about over the past few weeks is having a satellite parking area (there is actually a number of good locations that are empty during the week) that is setup with Cyclefreo bike sharing systems. Students would be able to park their car then pick up a bike and cycle into the West End of Fremantle where there are stations to dock the bike.
There could also be a number of stations located at the Fremantle Bus and Train station so students could catch public transport into Fremantle and then continue their journey to class on a Cyclefreo bike.
Below is a map with possible locations but really it would be best to hear from Notre Dame University students and staff as to where they would want to have this system located.

This could be a good initial test to see how the system works and plan for a wider implementation throughout Fremantle.
